So, as the title might suggest, we've put out a new release, but only sort of. The PRC has made available the release candidate for 3.3G. This means there are no debug messages or the like to annoy people, but at the same time, isn't a fully valid release, as there are still some fixes that I'd like to get in before fully launching it. The most important feature of the release is the fix to the DNecro and other spellbook classes, so those should be working properly again. We have also included all of xwarren's work on the Dragon classes, so they now take full advantage of all of the various wing and tail colours and breath weapon attacks graphically, as well as having the differentiation in scripts. There are also some optimizations changes for PWs in a few places thanks to Demitar.
Now, we only recommend this for single player use at the moment, given its status as a release candidate. Get It Here.
Thanks to xwarren, we have managed to recover many of the old threads from the PRC forums. Those I consider the most important have been reposted back into the forums in their appropriate places, while the rest are being provided for download from our website. They are all stored in the Old Forum Posts category, for those who wish to scroll back through the old posts.Using the material that xwarren provided, we have reopened the Character Builds forum, and posted every build we were able to save. For those classes where we did not manage it, feel free to start anew, as we'll always provide build assistance.
Finally, we added three new articles taken from old forum posts to our Neverwinter Articles folder. The first is Dragonfire Adept: My Thoughts, a long look at the Dragonfire Adept from a first time player, and an analysis of many of the available invocations and class features. The next is Invocations: My Thoughts, probing invocation magic, mainly from a Warlock perspective. It covers each available invocation, the benefits of each, as well where some might turn out poorly. Worthwhile reading for all involved in Invocation magic. Finally, there is Psionics - My Experiences to Date, a player's long look at psionics, psionic powers, the classes, and the experience of playing with the system. For those considering building a psion, this will point out many of the hidden benefits of the class.
Please note that new articles can also be seen on the left, in the New Articles box.
We at the PRC are attempt to resurrect as much as possible from Google cache. There is plenty of content out there, and we'd appreciate it if others could help us. The best way to do this is to search in Google for "Class Name site:http://www.dladventures.com". That was the address of the previous forums. If you do dig it up, please just format the text as best you can and drop it into that Submit Articles link on the left. Please make sure you choose NWN Articles as the category.
The best threads to look for are the ones that begin "Base Class:" or "Prestige Class:". These were the build threads for the various classes. Once we get a submission, we'll start rebuilding the guides as best we can.

The PRC would like to announce the launch of its new website, reachable from DAPRC.com, NWNPRC.com and NWN2PRC.com. We have expanded the features available through our website, and would like to welcome both our long-time users and new visitors to our newly launched website. We have opened up the Articles section so that you, our users, can submit material. We are also working on allowing uploads from the registered users so that they can easily provide code and content to be incorporated into the PRC.
We have kept as much of the old website as possible, including the NWN Manual and Articles, but, unfortunately, all accounts and posts were lost, and so everyone will need to re-register on the forums.
As our website is still in an early stage, we are looking for comments, suggestions, and recommendations to further expand the offerings that we at the Player Resource Consortium can provide. We have already opened a forum for designing and planning content for our Dragon Age offerings. We will also have more Dragon Age information in the middle of the July.
